Last year (after many years of not cycling) I purchased a Trek 7.3FX. A great hybrid bike (looks like a mountain bike but is set up like a road bike with thinner tyres and no suspension). I used it for commuting to work and also went on a lot of solo rides on Saturdays. This year I am doing the Norwich 100 with a group of friends - you can read more about it here: www.norwich100.co.uk
